This development provides 3,000m2
of flexible office space over 3 floors. The structure utilises
a braced steelframe with composite in situ concrete floor on
pad and strip foundations. A particular feature of the site
was its topography with a 5m fall across its width in which
car parking and a large footprint had to be accommodated. The
use of dry cellular retaining walls was employed to create site
terraces allowing development of the site. In addition site
drainage employed “SUDS” principles and significant
onsite attenuation. |

over 3 No. pavilion units ranging from 2-3 storey The structure
is steel framed and utilises concrete floors. Foundations utilise
a stiff concrete ring beam. As part of the works significant
attenuation measures were required on site to restrict forward
flows in to the receiving drainage network. |

due to the topography with complex geometrical shapes. The structure
utilises a steel frame with pre-cast concrete floors. The site
is designed to accommodate an expansion of 1,000m2 in terms
of infrastructure provision. |

over 5No. floors and is part of larger mixed use development.
The building is steel-framed with composite in situ concrete
floors on piled foundations. Due to the small footprint and
provision of external glazing, general stability is provided
via an in situ concrete core shear wall constructed using slipform
techniques. |

A new Scottish regional office of 2,350m2
for Gleeson was required on a steeply sloping site. Due to the
large open plan structure a steel frame with composite in situ
concrete flooring was adopted with a timber mansard roof. Foundations
utilised standard pads and strip. Externally, a large 4.8m high
timbacrib retaining wall was provided to form a car park. |

structure utilises a simple steelframe with facing block and
render cladding. A particular feature was the three storey tower
feature forming the entrance. |
