Position: Civil Engineering CAD Technician
Location: Glasgow
We currently have a vacancy for an experienced Civil Engineering Technician with experience of PDSTM and WinDesTM to augment our Civils team. You will be an integral member of the team responsible for the production of drawing media for issue to our Clients and fellow Design Team members. Some site attendance will be required. You will be involved in:
The Candidate: You will be a key member of the team reporting to and working alongside the Project Engineer to ensure the delivery of outputs meet the Clients brief. You will have the technical skills that will allow you to be confident in your position and will be able to work both under your own initiative and as part of a team to suit both size and complexity of the Project.
You will have an HNC and/or 3 years minimum post qualification experience. You will be able to demonstrate experience of working in similar role.
The role will offer you the opportunity to progress through your professional career becoming a key member of the team in the Dunfermline Office.
A full UK Driving Licence is essential.
Position: Geo-Environmental Engineer
Location: Glasgow
Within the practice we have a dedicated geotechnical team who provide specialist support and advice to our project engineers in both offices.
The Candidate: You will be key member of the team reporting to the Project Engineer to ensure the delivery of outputs to meet the Clients brief. You will have the technical skills that will allow you to be confident in your position and will be able to work both under you own initiative and as part of a team to suit both size and complexity of the Project. Excellent oral and written communuication skills are essential for regular client liaison and technical report writing.
